The local Greenwood Speech competition happened on Wednesday, Nov 27th and it was quite an event! There were 16 participants across the ESL C and ESL B classes. Our students had the opportunity to build expression, agency, and communication skills in an authentic context.  

Our top three winners from ESL B:

• in third place was Max Popov
• in second place was Sofia Guerrero
• in first place was Sohrab Ahmadi

Our top three winners from ESL C:

• in third place was Emmanuel Sanchez Cruz
• in second place was Samira Mahamat Al Abbaye
• in first place was Eman Fatima

Sohrab and Eman will be heading to the TDSB East Speech Competition at Northern SS next week on Dec 4th!
