Mr. MacDonald's ESLD/E students worked hard these past two weeks planning, writing, illustrating, and binding their own original picture books. On Monday April 27th, Ms. Bliss hosted a Picture Book Fair in the Library where students had the chance to read each other's work. The stories feature important lessons, big laughs, and some shocking twist endings. The students had lots of fun throughout the process. Some of the books will be kept as exemplars for future years, some will be taken home by the proud authors, and a select few will be donated to a Kindergarten classroom in the west end for the children there to read and enjoy. Congratulations to all the authors on their hard work!
