November Homework Calendar

The November homework calendar has been sent home. Please complete the daily activities and return them to school to be checked. If you have misplaced your monthly calendar, please ask for a new one. Here is the  link to the website I have put on the calendar. Enjoy!


At Home Reading Program

I am currently working on getting our classroom up and running with an online at home reading program. We are working on getting RAZ Kids set up so that students can enjoy reading at their recommended reading level on a daily basis at home. This is in addition to the monthly homework calendar. I will be sending home details. Stay tuned for updates!

Behaviour Expectations

Students in Room 209 received a copy of the Heather Heights Jr. Public School Behaviour Code of Conduct at the beginning of the school year. Students are asked to follow the code of conduct in order to ensure everyone is safe and is learning at their best. Everyone deserves to feel safe, learn, and have fun while they are at school. Here is a sample of some of the expectations. Thank you for your continued support!

The Code of Conduct at Heather Heights states that the following behaviours will not be tolerated:



• Disrespectful behavior towards self, fellow students, and staff

• Opposition to authority / being defiant

• Bullying and / or fighting
