Welcome to Ms. Maharaj's Grade 2 class.

Hello everyone,
I know this year has been slow and confusing for parents. Our work to rule is over and hopefully things will get back to normal. There are a couple of things you should know.

-The weather is getting colder, please send hats, mits, boots etc to ensure your child is warm.

-Please do not send treats or food with your child on their birthday. Loot bags with stickers and pencils are a great idea. I also ask that instead of loot bags you donate a book to our classroom library.

-Please make sure that your child has a pair of shoes for the classroom and outside.

-All parents and visitors must report to the office for any reason. Please DO NOT wait outside my door for your child.

Here are some things to remember:

-Parents must sign their childs' agenda every night. Feel free to write me messages in it.

-Students are required to read every night

-All tests and major assignments must be signed and returned

-Please provide a water bottle and indoor shoes

-Please note that on Gym days your child must wear running shoes and comfortable clothes

-Parents please remind your child that when they are in class that they are not talking in a loud voice

Math Test-Please sign your child's Data Management test and send it back. Thank You!
