In November, students receive a progress report card.

We place a significant emphasis on the learning skills that were noted on the progress report. We know that academic achievement is intrinsically connected to strong learning skills.

Our staff work together to develop strategies that will help students understand each learning skill and how to set personal goals related to each area.

The specific skills are:

RESPONSIBILITY
ORGANIZATION
SELF-REGULATION
INITIATIVE
INDEPENDENT WORK
COLLABORATION

We encourage families to talk about these skills at home as well.
