Dear Parents,
The IRC Family Council, is excited to offer 9 Pizza Lunches during the 2019/20 school year. The pizza day mandate is to encourage a fun event that students look forward to and a fundraising opportunity to support important enhancements to your child’s learning.
Each meal includes an extra large pizza slice(s) (ordered from Pizza Pizza). Pizza flavours offered are plain cheese OR pepperoni with cheese. A juice box (made with 100% fruit juice/no sugar added) is also an option.
Payment can be made either in cash (exact change please) or by cheque (payable to Indian Road Crescent School Parent Council). Please return your order form and payment to your child’s homeroom teacher by Thursday, October 3. please fill in one form per student and make one payment per student.
If you would like to “round up” your payment, it would be much appreciated to support all students being able to participate. If you require assistance with payment please contact Mr. Ghabrial, the school principal, and provide him with your completed form to ensure your child receives pizza.
Additionally, we want to be inclusive of all allergies and dietary restrictions, unfortunately, we are unable to have a pizza supplier commit to halal certified. We are able to provide gluten free/dairy free options; please contact IRCPizza@gmail.com to discuss costs and requirements. We are also not offering chocolate milk this year due to refrigeration capacity.
Circumstances may cause a student to miss an occasional Pizza Lunch and we ask that you consider this a donation to IRC Family Council Funds. A request has been made to teachers that they try not to schedule field trips on Pizza Lunch Days.
VOLUNTEERS
We need parent volunteers to make the pizza lunch a success. If you would like to help out this year, please come to the school for 11:30am. Sign in at the Office. Estimate your time needed to be approximately 45 min.
