The first day of school for the 2021-2022 school year is September 9, 2021. We assembled a document to describe the many safety plans and procedures for starting the 2020-2021 school year. Click HERE to find out more. While some of the information will remain the same for the 2021-2022 school year, this document will be updated once we receive more information from Toronto Public Health and TDSB for the re-opening of schools in September 2021

Each day upon arrival students are screened for COVID - 19 Symptoms. We appreciate parents taking the time to check their children each day and to send them to school with the Health Pass documentation or with the digital QR Code. Please click here for the Student Health Screening Pass and Health Screening App. This information will be updated for the 2021-2022 School Year.
For more information please see the TDSB Website.
Etobicoke Outdoor Education - Albion Hills
Our Grade 4, 5 & 6 students had the wonderful opportunity in the fall of 2019 to go on an overnight excursion to Albion Hills. The students stayed three nights and had exciting outdoor education experiences throughout the day. Here is a photo of our grade 6 students getting ready to load the bus as they began this four day experience.
We are a PLATINUM AWARD WINNING ECO SCHOOL!

Joyce Public School is known as a pioneer in the use of Information Technology for Education. We use Google Classroom, SmartBoards, Promethean Boards and Front Row Audio enhancements in the classrooms. Our students are trained in the use of a wide variety of technology, laptops, chromebooks and iPads as important tools for learning. These skills are essential for their future success in a rapidly changing world.
Joyce P.S. has a Nutrition Program and we encourage all students to be part of it. Students receive a nutritional snack each day. Our Nutrition Program is funded by parent support and by the Toronto Foundation for Student Success.
