Dear Families and Guardians,
Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year at Kipling Collegiate Institute!
We are excited to welcome all returning students and families, and extend a warm KCI welcome to those joining us for the first time—especially our Grade 9 students as they begin their high school journey. The first week of school has been filled with energy, optimism, and a shared sense of possibility as we come together for a year of learning, growth, and new opportunities.
Our Grade 9 students are settling in wonderfully and we are proud of the way they are embracing this important transition with curiosity and courage. Through orientation activities, building tours, and peer mentorship opportunities, they’ve begun to form connections, explore their new environment, and find their place within the KCI community.
As the school year gets underway, there are many exciting activities on the horizon:
- Club Carousel – Learn more about extracurricular opportunities and how to get involved!
- SAC Welcome BBQ – A BBQ to welcome students back to school and encourage them to meet new peers and learn about the Student Activity Council.
- Expectations Assembly – A chance to meet staff, hear from student leaders, and discover how to make the most of high school.
- Parent/Guardian Information Night – An upcoming opportunity to meet teachers, learn about curriculum expectations, and explore how we can partner together for student success.
We are committed to making KCI a safe, welcoming, and engaging place for all students. Our dedicated staff are already hard at work helping students feel supported both academically and personally. Whether it’s in the classroom, on the field, in the arts, or through leadership opportunities, we encourage every student to get involved and make this year one to remember.
