Welcome to Maryvale Public School! We are home to approximately 252 students from Full Day Kindergarten through Grade 8, including three Developmental Disability Intensive Support Program (DD ISP) rooms. Supported by a team of over 30 dedicated teachers and support staff, as well as our on-site YMCA daycare partnership, we work in close collaboration to provide a seamless, welcoming, and inclusive environment for every child.

At Maryvale, we place a strong emphasis on foundational academic success, focusing on robust literacy and numeracy skills across all grade levels. Embedded in our daily practice are the core principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and a deep commitment to inclusion. We design rich, flexible learning experiences tailored to meet each student's unique strengths and needs, ensuring that all learners have equal access to meaningful opportunities to grow, collaborate, and succeed.

We also believe that empowering our learners is key to a vibrant school culture. We actively amplify student voice and encourage students to take on leadership roles—most notably through our active Student Council, as well as classroom initiatives, school-wide clubs, and the arts. Fostering self-advocacy and initiative helps our students build confidence, empathy, and resilience both inside and outside the classroom.
