Google Translate Limitations Disclaimer
The electronic translation service on the Toronto District School Board website is hosted by Google Translate, a third party service. The TDSB does not guarantee or warrant the reliability, accuracy or completeness of any translated information.
The quality of the translation will vary in some of the languages offered by Google. Google Translate is a free service and currently offers translation in over 100 languages, but does not capture all languages or dialects.
The basic translation goal is to capture the general intention of the original English material. Before you act on translated information, we encourage you to confirm any facts that are important to you or may affect any decisions you make.
The Toronto District School Board is committed to equity and community engagement, and by providing this tool, we are making our information more accessible to families whose first language is not English.
Monarch Park will be hosting our grade 8 open house on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 from 6-8 pm. Families will have the opportunity to learn more about the school in an assembly, touring the building and speaking with current staff and students.
Monarch Eats is a mostly student run group that makes sure that the students at Monarch Park have healthy foods available to them every morning and at lunch. Students can also plan ahead and grab an extra snack in the morning in the main lobby to get them to lunch and repeat at lunch when needed from the Monarch Eats area by the library.
This program is expensive! We are fortunate to have a grant from TFSS (Toronto Federation for Student Success) but it's not enough to support the amount of food our students are consuming. We need to secure additional funding through donations and fundraising to meet the requirements of the program and the grant.
The school library is open daily at 8:30 am and after school until 4pm. we are closed in the afternoon.
