There is always lots going on at Parkside! We go on school trips in our neighborhood, to the parks, skating rink and swimming pool. Every morning, the principal invites kids to say the announcements in their home languages. When we go outside for recess we have activities including football, skipping, soccer, basketball and more. A tradition at Parkside is that every year we tap the Maple trees in Parkside’s very own courtyard for sap. We use it to make maple syrup! Other yearly events are the Welcome BBQs, The Terry Fox Run, The Spring Fair and Holiday Concerts. Our teachers here are kind and caring and do whatever they can to help the students.
