Pineway Public School is a dynamic Learning Community. We strongly believe that we play a vital role, with our community partners, in fostering life-long learning and high standards for student success.
Pineway embraces relevant curriculum, equity of access and opportunity, and accountability in a nurturing, engaging, and safe school environment. We believe that every child can learn and achieve success when supported in an inclusive, equitable, caring partnership with home and community.
Pineway’s Mission Statement: In Partnership with parents and community, Pineway encourages students to learn, achieve success and participate responsibly in a safe, caring, equitable and democratic learning environment. The Pineway Code of Conduct is based on expectations for staff, students, and parents, with clearly stated consequences for unacceptable behavior. Our Code emphasizes co-operation, mutual support, positive attitude, respect for oneself and others, and the responsibility of each individual for his or her behavior.
Pineway serves nearly 300 students who represent 25 different languages and cultures. These are Chinese, Farsi, Korean, Tamil, Somali, Twi, Arabic, West Indies Patios/Creole and Gujarati. We value their contribution to our school culture.
