Port Royal Public School is a Kindergarten to Grade 8 school located in a North East neighbourhood of Toronto. The school was opened in 1992. It is named after Samuel de Champlain's Port Royal Habitation (1605), the first permanent settlement in Canada. Today, Port Royal is a Parks Canada National Historic Site in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia.
The students, families and staff at Port Royal Public School have very high standards in attaining the best academic achievement. Our students participate in many extra-curricular activities which will prepare them to live a balanced lifestyle in the future.
Our community partner, the YMCA Daycare, shares space in our school building and provides daycare services for our neighbourhood.
