Welcome to the Parent Council page of the school website.  Here you will find the minutes of our meetings. The meetings will take place virtually for the time being.  All parents are welcome.

SCHOOL COUNCIL MINUTES Ranchdale P.S - March 27th, 2024

Playground update (Principal)

• resurfacing beginning end of April
• will be done in 2 phases - phase 2 will be during the summer and will include the playground
• Kindergarten area and access, and day care access, will be impacted (day care will use door 5 and kindergarten will use door in front play area.

• Planning for 2024/25 School Year
• staff allocation shared with council
• proposed classroom organization shared (is pending approval from LN Superintendent)

Request For Funds

• most requests reflect a need for technology
• tablets and teacher tech specified as areas of needs
• Graduation

Spring BBQ

• June 14th
• Ms. Velliaris has been communicating with council to organize
• discussion around wrist band vs. tickets for food and games

Other Business

• Broadlands Skating Rink - Look into dates for next year.  If we book many days for classes, can we get the community/parent skate night for free?
