Roywood PS is comprised of a diverse community where students from many different cultures come together to learn and develop skills that will be the backbone to their future success. At Roywood we believe that all children come to school with the capacity and desire to learn and it is our job to build on the unique strength of each child.  We believe that all families are unique and resilient and are a valuable resource to the school.

We pride ourselves on being a community of families and staff who work together in partnership for the benefit of all. We are committed to supporting our students and the school community based on the five essential components of Model Schools:

We strive to educate the whole child using culturally relevant curriculum, including the development of social and emotional skills, character education, along with helping students to achieve academic excellence. Roywood PS educators are committed to equity and empowering “student voice”. We believe in the success of all our students and honour all of their achievements.
