Dear Parents and Guardians of our Grade 8 Graduating Students,

Many children were absent for our Graduation Photos earlier in March.  Retake photos will be taken on April 11th from 9 am until Noon.  If you wish to purchase the composite of all of the graduating class, please fill in this order form   and bring it, with $33.90 ($30 + tax) to the school on that day.

Sir Ernest MacMillan’s Grade 8 Graduation will be on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. 

Moving on from elementary to secondary school is an important and memorable milestone for students.  We intend to make this event very special for all of our graduates!

Parents are cordially invited to attend the Graduation Ceremony taking place at Sir John A. MacDonald C.I. (2300 Pharmacy Ave) from 4:00pm to 5:45pm. Refreshments for parents and students will be enjoyed from 6:00pm to 6:30pm at Sir Ernest MacMillan Sr. P.S., giving everyone a great opportunity to take pictures. Parents will then say their goodbyes, and the graduates will have their celebratory dinner and dance from 6:30pm – 8:30pm. We ask that parents please pick up their child between 8:30pm – 8:45pm. That is when the celebration and dance will finish.

We are sending home the information now in order for families to plan ahead. The cost per student will be $35 which includes the cost of dinner, dessert, dance, parent reception and a graduation t-shirt for each graduate!
