Toronto Public Health

Message from Toronto Public Health regarding the Reporting of Student Immunization Online:vt

Toronto Public Health reviews immunization records to ensure students are vaccinated according to their age. Improving immunization coverage reduces the spread of serious diseases and keeps students and staff healthy. www.toronto.ca/studentvaccines

There is an online reporting system which is secure and easy to access 24/7. By encouraging parents to report online, it may reduce the need for your staff to collect and mail students' immunization records to Toronto Public Health.

For parents / students who are unable to report online, they can send TPH a copy of their immunization information.

Please include the student's name and birth date on the immunization record and mail to:
Toronto Public Health
235 Danforth Avenue, 2nd floor
Toronto, ON M4K 1N2

Sincerely,
Vaccine Preventable Diseases Program

International Languages

Thank you to everyone who submitted the TDSB International Languages Elementary/African Heritage Programs Survey as we were looking to see whether West Prep would be able to offer language programs after-school.

In order for any language program to be run at a TDSB school, a minimum of 23 students are required to be in a minimum of 4 different program classes at one site to make the program viable. After submitting the survey package back to the TDSB offices, we were informed that we did not meet the minimum required numbers to open up a program at our school.

The TDSB International Languages program is available at several locations throughout the city. Please click on the link: Search For A Class to find the program and the nearest location to your home.

To find out more about the TDSB International Languages Elementary and African Heritage Program Guide, please click the brochure below.  For any questions regarding the program feel free to call 416 338-4100.

Premier Agendas Delay

Message from the TDSB:

Dear parents/guardians,

We have just been informed that due to a significant production issue with our vendor, Premier Agendas, there will be a delay in the delivery of our school's student planners. This production issue has impacted the delivery of planners across the TDSB and across the province. While we can't confirm exactly when your child's school will receive shipment of planners, we have been told by Premier Agendas that all schools will receive their planners by the end of September.  Linked below are September and October calendars in two formats for use until planners arrive:
