Welcome to Yorkdale Secondary School

Empowering students aged 18 to 20 to earn their diploma, upgrade for post-secondary goals, or transition smoothly into the Ontario education system through our specialized EdVance Program.

Welcome!

Yorkdale EdVance is for students 18-20 years old. You can earn up to 3 credits in 9 weeks. We run on a quad system.

Registration dates

Registration is done online. When registration is open, Click on the register now button, and complete the registration form.

  • Quad 1 runs September – November, online registration begins June 15th
  • Quad 2 runs November – February, online registration begins in October
  • Quad 3 runs February – April, online registration begins in January
  • Quad 4 runs April – June, online registrations begins in March

Timetable Information

Classes run Monday – Friday

  • Period 1 is from 8:25-10:25 am
  • Period 2 is from 10:35-12:35 pm
  • Period 3 is from 1:15-3:15 pm

Attendance Policy

All classes are in-person ONLY and run Monday-Friday at their designated times and attendance is required daily. Yorkdale’s courses are NOT Independent Study courses. This means you must attend the in-person classes, or you will be removed from the course.

We no longer offer Online classes.
