Designing a Sustainable Park - Brown’s 4/5s
Ms. Brown’s Grade 4 and 5 class designed a sustainable park, integrating multiple subjects into their project. They applied Science by exploring energy conservation, Social Studies through mapping, Math with measurement, and Art through basic drawing and painting. As part of their learning, students identified various forms of energy and explored practical ways to use them in everyday life.
Scientists in the School - Xavier’s 1/2s
Students in Ms. Xavier's class are learning about solids, liquids, and gases. We are learning that matter is everywhere. Scientist Sharma from Scientists in School came to our classroom to do hands on experiments by exploring solubility, absorption, viscosities, buoyancy, and chemical reactions. We learned how to identify the properties of solids, liquids, and gases too. Doing hands-on experiments allowed us to problem solve, make hypotheses, and gain confidence in thinking more critically of the world in science!
