Bayview's main goal is to produce students who are environmentally and can meet the social and
environmental challenges of the future.  While at Bayview, students will obtain the knowledge,
develop the skills, discover how to think critically about  environmental issues, and be provided
opportunities in which they can create, lead, and participate in reducing their impact on Earth's
natural systems.

The entire school is completing a school yeard clean up on April 20th, 2017 during period 6, as part of Clean Toronto Together.

In January, Ms. Szandtner with four grade 8 students to an EcoSchools middle school conference.  One goal of this conference was to improve their leadership skills.  As a follow up to this, these students are making a presentation about garbage/recycling/composting to the Grade 7 science classes.  This will occur from April 3 to April 7, 2017.
