Dear Parents and Guardians,

At Blake Street Junior Public school we have created a warm, caring school environment. Teachers and support staff work hard to ensure that all students are successful academically, socially and emotionally. We provide numerous opportunities for students within the classroom and outside the classroom. All of the teachers deliver a rich, relevant meaningful curriculum that is culturally responsive. Our students engage in hands on activities and work cooperatively. Because of our small numbers, we are like a family. Everyone takes care of each other and helps each other. I am proud to be a principal in a school culture that is positive and where learning is happening at all times.
