Our mission at Brookmill Boulevard Junior Public School is to create a vibrant K–6 learning community where every student is known, valued, and inspired to achieve. Our school is strengthened by the many cultures, languages, and experiences of our 220 students and families. Recess Procedures

Outdoor play is essential to overall student health and wellbeing. Families are encouraged to ensure that students have enough warm layers on wintry days, rain gear when it drizzles, and a sun hat, light layers, and sunscreen when the temperature turns warm. Let us know if you need help suiting up!

In accordance with the TDSB's Severe Weather procedure, the decision to shorten recess or move it indoors will only occur when temperatures are between -20 and -28 C, there is risk of a thunderstorm, or there is a heat warning or extreme weather alert in effect for the City of Toronto.
