Fundraising

Parents as Partners First!

While fundraising can help us provide valuable enrichment opportunities for our students, our greatest resource is not fundraising; it's our families.

We know family life is busy and expensive. Participation in fundraising events is always optional, and no child will ever miss out because of cost.

If you only have time for one education-related thing today, we'd much rather you read with your child than buy a label. Your time, your partnership, and your support at home make the biggest difference of all.

That being said, we always welcome ideas and initiative! If you have ideas to share, please come to a School Council meeting or connect with the principal. As long as the idea aligns with TDSB fundraising policies and doesn't distract from learning, we're always open to considering it!

TDSB Fundraising Policies and Procedures

Policies guide all the activities of the TDSB, and procedures are developed to implement the vision and intent of the policies, “the how-to.”

When considering any school-based or board-wide fundraising activity, these policies are a good place to start.

Navigating through policies and procedures can be a daunting task. To discuss any policies and procedures for fundraising, potential business sponsorship opportunities or the distribution of materials, don't hesitate to get in touch with our principal, Ms. McColl, 416-396-6090 or the TDSB's Business Development office at 416-395-9694.
