How to Register for Kindergarten:
Registration for English Kindergarten programs begins in February. We look forward to welcoming you and your child!
- Only parents or legal guardians can register a child.
- There is a separate process to apply for out-of-area admissions. Please contact alternative schools or elementary academies directly for more information.
- If your child currently attends child care at a TDSB school that is not your designated home school, and you wish to register for Kindergarten at that school, an out-of-area admissions application may not be required. Please review the Out of Area Admissions Policy and Procedure and, if required call us at 416 393 9220
Parents, guardians, and grandparents: do you know about the
Dovercourt School Advisory Council (SAC)?
The
SAC is made up of parents, guardians, and grandparents from the Dovercourt
community who engage with the school on a variety of issues and activities
relating to student achievement, enrichment, curriculum goals and priorities,
school budget priorities, school safety, renovation plans, after school
activities, and criteria for selection of new principals. We coordinate events,
like school movie nights and the annual Spring Fling festival, and spearhead
fundraising initiatives, like the annual Dance-a-Thon and
Spirit Wear sales.
