Parents, guardians, and grandparents: do you know about the Dovercourt School Advisory Council (SAC)? The SAC is made up of parents, guardians, and grandparents from the Dovercourt community who engage with the school on a variety of issues and activities relating to student achievement, enrichment, curriculum goals and priorities, school budget priorities, school safety, renovation plans, after school activities, and criteria for selection of new principals. We coordinate events, like school movie nights and the annual Spring Fling festival, and spearhead fundraising initiatives, like the annual Dance-a-Thon and Spirit Wear sales.
