Earl Beatty Fun Fair - June 17, 2017

Fun Fair update:

Planning for our June 17, Fun Fair is in full swing and with this year’s lineup of entertainment and activities it’s looking to be one of our most exciting events yet.
Although the Fun Fair is still more than a month away, there are still plenty of ways for our Earl Beatty community to get involved and contribute today.
Can you lend a hand?
We are looking for volunteers to help out both in the lead-up to the Fun Fair as well as the actual day.  If you, or your child, are interested in getting involved please fill out our volunteer form.  Letters for volunteer hours will be provided.
Game on!
The Leafs may be out of the playoffs but our hockey days aren’t over. Last year’s highly popular Earl Beatty Road Hockey Tournament is back on the roster and registration is now open. Sign up as an individual, or as part of a team (up to 9 players on a team in a 4-on-4 format), by picking up a registration form in the office or emailing
From history to mystery
Not sure what to do with that old marble collection or box of Lego collecting dust in your basement? Don’t toss it – we want it! Just fill up a mason jar with your gently- used treasures (or feel free to stuff a jar with new items or candy as well) and drop it off at the school office. Our mystery mason jars will be on display during the Fun Fair and for $2 a ticket you will get to take one home.
We are also looking for used books for our book sale. Please drop off any donations to the Earl Beatty office.

Yard Revitalization

Earl Beatty Public School: Play Hard for our Yard!

We are excited that Earl Beatty Public School has been selected by the Toronto District School Board as a school in need of an artificial turf field, after many years of unsuccessful greening improvements. The school is scheduled to be getting a new turf field at the end of this school year (Summer 2017).  Thank you to the Yard Committee, led by Zenobia Homavazir, Mike Zavershnik, Tulia Bateman and Jane Brind, for all your incredible work in fundraising to support the vision of this project.
