The Nutcracker is coming to Orde street school on Monday December 5th, 2016, at 10:30 am.
Orde Students will once again be treated to a live showcase performance of the Nutcracker by the School of Cadence Ballet on December 5th.

Wednesday December 7th, 2016. AUTHOR Michael Wade will be visiting Orde street school classrooms.
We look forward to having him sharing his series “ And then it happen” books 1-13.
He will be donating a complete set of his books to the library
PIZZA NEW DATE: Pizza day has moved to a new day, Friday December 16, 2016. No Pizza on the original December 23rd Date.
Fundraising Candy Cane Cards: Grade 7 is having a fundraising from Monday December 12th till Friday December 16th, 2016 they will be selling Candy Cane Cards $ 1.00. The money collected will be going towards Grades 7 Ottawa Trip.
School will be closed from December 26th, 2016 till January 6th, 2017.
We would like to introduce Fatima Jaffer and Christina Papas, two new staff members teaching grade 4 and grade 2 respectfully. Welcome! Our Two French Teachers Meghan Hulsman and Julia Bentley have had the classes changed. Ms. Hulsman is teaching grade 5/6 and 6/7 classes. Ms. Bentley will do the other junior classes.
THIS WAS DONATED BY THE SCHOOL COUNCIL and Peggy Lee is taking the leadership during 8:00 am. To 9:00 am. to Facilitate the placing of stars, with Positive and Thankful statements, on the tree. We are so thankful for our wonderful learning/family community that we would like to place these stars with the comments on the tree. We look forward to reading your family comments.
BOOK FAIR EVENT
We invite your entire family to participate by purchasing the latest and greatest in children’s books.
You’ll find hundreds of quality books at our Book Fair with a wide assortment for all reading levels. Please see attached pamphlet.
