Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten Registration

Registration for all TDSB Kindergarten programs begins in February.

We look forward to welcoming you and your child! You may choose to register using the online registration system or by booking a virtual face-to-face meeting directly with your school.

Children who will be four by December 31, 2022, can start Junior Kindergarten in September 2022.

To begin the registration process proceed to this website and complete an Online Registration. Once you have submitted an online registration our Office Administrator Michelle Sheehan will contact you to set up a virtual meeting to complete the registration.

Once you have completed the online portion of the registration process, you will receive a confirmation e-mail, including information about next steps. Please be sure to check your Inbox and Junk Mail folder to avoid missing the e-mail.  You can also email Michelle Sheehan (our Office Administrator) once you have submitted your online application to book your appointment.

Please note:

  • Only parents or legal guardians can register a child for TDSB programs.
  • There is a separate process to apply for optional attendance. If you wish to register your child at an elementary alternative school or elementary academy, please contact the school directly for more information about requirements and the registration process.
  • Early French Immersion: At the TDSB, the Early French Immersion program begins in Junior Kindergarten (JK). *Please note for September 2022 only, children may enter in both Junior Kindergarten and Senior Kindergarten. Moving forward (2023), the only entry point for Early French Immersion will be JK.  Complete information can be found at and specifically at Early French Immersion .
