Our school community benefits from active parent volunteers, dedicated staff, and community members who make up our School Council. The School Council acts as an advisory body to the Principal regarding many school-related opportunities and operational initiatives. Your participation is always welcome, and meetings are held regularly throughout the school year.
Parents are children's first and life-long teachers. We value the partnership between home and school and know that parental involvement is key to success in intermediate education. You can be involved by supporting your child with daily learning, volunteering for school events, or joining our School Council. Working together ensures that our Grade 7 and 8 students receive an exceptional educational experience.
SAM serves a vibrant and diverse community of students reflecting rich linguistic, cultural, and global backgrounds. Our staff has a strong history of providing an excellent all-round program tailored to meet the needs of intermediate learners. Key programming includes Mathematics, Science and Technology, English, Core and Immersion French, History and Geography, Visual Arts, Instrumental Music and Strings, and Physical Education.
Newly arrived students who are developing English language proficiency receive support through our English as a Second Language (ESL) programming. The instruction is designed to help English Language Learners (ELLs) build confidence and integrate smoothly into mainstream subject classes.
