At Arbor Glen our goals are to encourage the development of a positive self-concept and a respect for others, to build on the natural enthusiasm and curiosity of students and to provide opportunities for students to experience high levels of success.  We do this by providing a balanced curriculum of literacy, numeracy, environmental studies (history, science, geography) and the arts and establishing an environment that stimulates active learning and encourages problem solving and the development of self discipline and initiative.  Experiences designed to expose students to many facets of learning and to explore various new areas of knowledge are provided within the curriculum and in co-curricular activities.  Enriching programs in the classroom, in the community and out-of-doors are integral parts of our programs.

We believe that close communication and co-operation between home and school will benefit our students.  To achieve this, I encourage you to keep in touch with us and to call whenever we can be of assistance.  All staff members are anxious to make our children's years at Arbor Glen pleasant and productive.  Together, the adults at home and at school can work towards a positive partnership in our children's education.

We look forward to working with you as partners in providing the best possible education for our children. Together, we are creating a caring and stimulating environment.
