The ASE Community
The staff at ASE 1 try to foster a comfortable, welcoming, and familial environment for our students. Our small student population of approximately 50 students, and the small school of only 4 classrooms, allows everyone to get to know each other in a way that is impossible at a larger school. Staff and students communicate on a first name basis, and the staff are genuinely interested in our students. The nature of the school allows for strong relationships to be built.
Regular fun events, such as cookie and cupcake decorating, pancake breakfasts, and samosa days, help build a sense of belonging and community. We are also fortunate to have a common room where students can eat snacks from our grab and go nutrition program, relax during lunch, and work together to maintain the shared space.
