The mission of the School Library Information Centre program is to assist all students to read for breadth and understanding, research with purpose and process, build knowledge with insight and responsibility, and transform their knowledge into wisdom for a lifetime of learning.

Policies and Procedures

Each class has the opportunity to have library time once a week. Additional open book exchange time is made available for students during the week. Library books are checked out for a one week loan. Students are encouraged to return all items on time. There are no overdue charges for books, however, if students have an overdue book, they may not check out another until the late book is returned. Books, paperback books, or magazines may be renewed. Lost or damaged items must be paid in full for a replacement.

The school library website is your portal to online resources. This site is created and maintained by the Library and Learning Resources and Interdisciplinary Studies, with the help of the TDSB teacher librarians.
