Braeburn Junior School

Braeburn is a small, culturally diverse school situated on the banks of the Humber River. Braeburn opened in 1969 as an open concept school: our movable walls continue to allow for flexible use of space including tutorial, individual classroom, and team teaching areas.

In August of 2007 Braeburn Junior School became part of the Model Schools for Inner Cities Project Cluster 5. Model Schools for Inner Cities is an initiative that ensures students in the inner city grow up with all the positive choices and opportunities they need to thrive. We focus on the needs of the child and by working together with students, families, community and governments.
