City School has a rich history; It was founded by a group of teachers and parents from S.E.E.D over 42 years ago.
This is City School’s third location.
Our school is one of eleven schools known as the Secondary Alternative Schools West (SASW). The Administration team consists of one Principal and two Vice Principals.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to ensure that youth engage critically in their own academic and personal growth by exploring socially relevant issues, examining diverse perspectives, and taking part in a friendly, nurturing and open community. Our focus on mental health and our community building practices are part of our commitment to building safe spaces and promoting social justice and equity.
Students are the ones in charge of their education. Their choices and voices are heard and taken into account.
