Diefenbaker is focused on building community and learning together in a caring environment built on high expectations and a focus on academics, positive mental health, and overall well-being. 

We believe that our students are creative, confident and capable learners. 

I am proud to lead such a dedicated team of educators as they support your children at school. Our programs are based on the Ontario Curriculum. We believe that each child can achieve high levels of achievement and will develop the skills, attitudes, and habits of mind to support them in their academic journey at elementary school and beyond. 

The partnership between home and school is an essential one in providing all students with the support and care that they deserve. The entire Diefenbaker staff looks forward to building and maintaining productive, regular, and meaningful communication with families, as our children’s first teachers. Your child’s teachers should always be your first point of contact if you have questions or concerns.
