Parking Safety

September 29, 2017

Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s):  Re: Parking Safety

To ensure the safety of our students the East side of the parking lot will be closed until further notice, from 8:20 a.m. until 3:40 p.m. (As this is for Staff Parking only)

I strongly encourage you to avoid the school parking lot during drop off and pick up times it is very busy. Walking to school is an excellent way for students to get some fresh air and exercise. Students can also be dropped off on the side streets, near the gates at the back and sides of the school on Delbert Dr., Maxim Crest. or Arbutus Cres. (please see map).

If you must use the lot then please drive slowly entering at the East driveway and exiting at the lights.  We have many school busses in the morning and afternoon so parking spots are blocked.  Do not leave cars unattended in designated fire routes or in front of cars or the yellow closed parking barriers. These cars will be tagged and/ or towed.

Together we can make ESPS a safer place to learn. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at the school.

Sincerely,

G. Yhap (Principal),  D. Feng (Vice-Principal)

"WE Day Family" PARENT INVITE

The Toronto District School Board has had a long standing partnership with WE (formerly Free the Children)  and as such each year staff are invited to attend a special evening event called WE Day Family Toronto.

On Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the Scotiabank Arena, you are invited to be part of a celebration of families that have made a commitment to make a difference. It’s an opportunity to spend time together as a family while discovering how you can change the world together. Doors open at 5:00pm and the show starts at 6:15pm.

There is no cost to attend WE Day Family Toronto.

The theme of this year’s WE Day Family Toronto is “Get Doing”—bringing to life the idea of building a brighter future and what happens when amazing families like yours come together to create change.

WE makes doing good, doable: we give families the motivation, inspiration and support to raise compassionate children, to harness your families individual talents and to bond together around causes that matter. This is an incredible opportunity to experience the magic of WE Day alongside the children in your life. You’ll leave the event with tangible ideas to take action as a family and make a difference in your local and global community.
