Welcome to Garden Avenue Junior Public School!  

We are a vibrant and caring school community for students in Kindergarten through Grade Six.  At Garden, we value each and every student. As a staff, we strive to provide the best experience for out students as well as a caring, safe, nurturing, positive and respectful learning environment. 

Even though we are a small school, we have a wide variety of extra-curricular activities for our students to participate in, such as: Cross Country running; Track and Field; Book Club; Knitting Club; Lego Club; Soccer Club; Ball Hockey Club, Chess Club and many more.  We recognize the importance of building connections outside the classroom, and this is reflected in our commitment to extra activities during recess, lunch, and before/after school.

We believe in nurturing the health and well-being of our students at school, therefore we provide opportunities for our students to engage in mindfulness and self-reflection, such as during our daily Mindful Activity and our reflection room.
