Introduction:
The Student Success program at Vanier works closely with guidance and Special Education to identify students who are struggling to reach their potential. Supports and interventions are put into place depending on the students’ needs. These may include on-going interventions such as credit recovery, for courses already failed, or credit rescue, for current courses in jeopardy. Student Success looks at “wrap around” supports including food and clothing needs, referrals to counseling services within the school/community or referrals to specialized programs.
