• Aug. 2026 — Application material for Fall 2027 admission is posted on OUInfo
• Sept. 26–27, 2026 — Ontario Universities’ Fair at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (South Building); regional fairs & info sessions run through the fall
• Jan. 15, 2027 — Deadline to submit your OUAC application (late applications are still processed, but individual university deadlines apply)
• May 28, 2027 — Latest date to expect a response (offer, refusal, or deferral) from Ontario universities if you applied by Jan. 15
• June 1, 2027 — Earliest date a university may require you to accept an offer and make a financial commitment
• Early June 2027 — Admission Information Service opens — search for programs that still have space

Applications to all of Ontario’s public colleges go through one central service: ontariocolleges.ca. These dates repeat every application cycle.

• Late Sept.–early Oct. — online application opens for programs starting the following fall
• Nov. 1 — earliest date colleges may send offers of admission
• Feb. 1 — equal consideration date: apply by this date for highly competitive programs (after it, spots go first-come, first-served)
• May 1 — deadline to confirm your offer of admission
• June — tuition deposit due at your college to secure your spot

TDSB automatically sends your courses and marks to OCAS (colleges) and OUAC (universities) at set points in the application cycle — you don’t need to send transcripts yourself. Key dates for the 2026–27 cycle:

• Fall 2026 — current courses & Semester 1 midterm marks (OCAS: Oct. 9 & Nov. 13; OUAC: Nov. 5 & Nov. 19)
• Feb. 11, 2027 — Semester 1 final marks (OCAS & OUAC)
• Apr. 23, 2027 — Semester 2 midterm marks (OCAS & OUAC)
• Early July 2027 — Semester 2 final marks & proof of graduation (OCAS: July 2; OUAC: July 8)
• Aug. 5, 2027 — any remaining final marks
• Aug. 31, 2027 — summer school marks

Marks must be finalized at the school before each date — if a mark looks wrong or is missing, see your counsellor right away.

Most US colleges accept the Common Application. Deadlines vary by college — always confirm on each college’s admissions page. US applications usually involve essays, teacher recommendations, and sometimes SAT/ACT scores, so start early and see your counsellor.

• Aug. 1 — Common App opens for the new application cycle each year
• Nov. 1 or Nov. 15 — typical Early Decision / Early Action deadlines
• Jan. 1–15 — typical Regular Decision deadlines
