Welcome to the school year 2018-2019.  My name is Angie Pumputis and I am excited to be the principal and serving the community of Harwood Public School.   I am looking forward to establishing a positive, supportive relationship with each and every family at the school. I have an unwavering commitment to curriculum and programming that meets the academic and social/emotional needs of each and every child in our care. Harwood Public School will continue to support high standards of achievement in a warm, nurturing and safe environment.  A Harwood Hawk always soars to success!

There is a lot of excitement ahead of us, including new teachers to meet, new books to read, new friends to meet and new skills to master….and I look forward to sharing in those exciting times.  As a parent myself, I know how fast time goes by.  I encourage you to engage in your child’s education and get to know his/her teachers.  I also encourage your involvement at Harwood. At TDSB we believe that children reap the benefits when the home, the school and the community work together in a positive, supportive manner.
