Highfield Community Cultural Fair On Saturday May 31tst Highfield Junior School along with International Languages and celebrated their fourth annual Community and Cultural Fair that was a great success. This exciting event was planned to celebrate our successes and partnerships throughout the year.
Students, parents, staff and the community in large numbers participated in this event and had an opportunity to eat, play and be a part of some great cultural music and dance. Three Parent workshops were offered, sharing information concerning how families can support Highfield students at home. Special thanks to our School Council who provided us with a number of volunteers from Telus who played an active part in the proceedings. Extra special thanks to Mrs. Nobile and her team for coordinating this event, Highfield staff who volunteered their time, our Settlement Work Mr. Mustafah and our partners from Better Beginnings Better Futures for their efforts .
