Friday, May 29, 2026 03:33 PM

Hello HCI,

The countdown is officially on! We are eight school days away from the moratorium beginning and 12 school days away from exams. As the weather becomes nicer and nicer, I urge you to continue impressing upon your children the need to remain engaged in their classes. This will help them to stay organized as they work through their culminating assignments and prepare for exams. There is lots of new information to review below, so I will keep this short this week!

Humberside Celebrates

Student Council Elections and Grade Representatives--> This year we had a very successful student council election, where candidates campaigned and delivered speeches to the entire student body. Our 2026-2027 student council is now in place and you will begin hearing from them in future weekly bulletins! Congratulations to all who put the effort and bravery into running for these very important leadership positions. As well, we had a strong interest in the Grade Representative positions and we now have a full cohort of grade representatives that support the council and ensure each grade has a voice!

The Student Council Executives are as follows:

President: Mahreen R.

Vice President: Ethan Q.

Secretary: Ella R.

Treasurer: Spencer G.

Public Relations: Kira W.
