Good afternoon HCI,
We have officially entered the final seven days of classes starting on Monday! As a friendly reminder, the days leading up to the exam period are attendance taking days. If your child is going to be absent, please ensure you continue to follow the TDSB attendance procedures and report the absence via the School Messenger App or by calling the school. Any student that is absent from classes with the code A190-Unexplained, is considered to be ‘skipping’. Teachers are not required to provide make up learning or assessment opportunities if a student has an unexcused absence for an attendance taking day. Should your child need to be away from school due to an illness or other legitimate reason, and it is a culminating assessment day, they may be referred to the VP for follow up documentation and or discussion.
Let's finish this semester strong HCI!
