Anti-Black Racism

Action against Anti-Black Racism

Within one week in May 2020, George Floyd was killed by police in Minneapolis, Amy Cooper called 911 in New York City, and Regis Korchinski Paquet fell to her death in the presence of police in Toronto. Protests of George Floyd's death by police, fueled by years and decades of ineffective action against Anti-Black Racism have spread around the world. A community member noted that while all this is newsworthy, none of it is new. People are tired and angry.

This page, started on June 1, 2020 will document our actions moving ahead in order to be accountable as a school to our community.
