Parents/Guardians/Family Members hoping to volunteer with the school (excursions/trips, Pizza Day, special events etc.) are required to complete a Police Clearance Letter. The Police Reference Check, Level 2 – Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC) is free and involves the following steps: 
 

1. Contact Iain ([email protected]) to obtain a letter from the school confirming that you will be volunteering. Please include your Legal Name, Date of Birth, and Current Address in your email.

2. Apply for the CRJMC Check on the Toronto Police Service Website. Select the Volunteer option for $0.00.

3. Once you receive the completed CRJMC Check please email it to myself ([email protected]) and Ms. Iva ([email protected]). We then forward it along to the TDSB Police Clearance office, and once they have cleared you to volunteer we will be in touch.

If you have had a police clearance check in the past you will need to complete an Annual Offence Declaration. Please reach out to Iain and Iva to verify or to complete the declaration,  view or print the declaration form, or ask for one from our office.
