Principal’s Message

Dear Ledbury Park families and community members,

I am honoured to join Ledbury Park EMS as the new principal and to become part of this vibrant and welcoming school community. It is a privilege to serve such a richly diverse and dynamic group of students, families, and staff, and I am excited about the journey ahead.

At Ledbury Park, we are deeply committed to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and equitable learning environment where every child experiences a strong sense of belonging, feels cared for, and is supported to achieve high levels of academic success and well-being. We strive to create a school community that honours and affirms the identities and lived experiences of all members, ensuring that students, staff, families, and community members feel valued, respected, and heard.

Our programming reflects the voices, choices, abilities, identities, and experiences of our students and families and is grounded in culturally relevant and responsive pedagogy. Through ongoing reflection and collaboration, we continually review our school policies, procedures, and practices to ensure they promote equity, inclusion, and fairness. We are dedicated to fostering student achievement and well-being through rich, meaningful learning experiences in inclusive environments where all voices are valued and a strong sense of mattering and belonging is nurtured.

At Ledbury Park, our shared expectations are rooted in our school-wide mantra: Respect in Words. Respect in Actions. Respect in Choices. This mantra guides how students are expected to communicate, interact, and make decisions each day and plays an essential role in fostering a safe, caring, and inclusive school environment. Students are encouraged to reflect regularly on whether their words, actions, and choices demonstrate respect by using kind and inclusive language, showing care and responsibility toward others, and making thoughtful decisions that help everyone feel safe, valued, and included.

I look forward to working with students, staff, families, and community members to make Ledbury Park a place where every student feels valued, supported, and inspired to succeed.
