Lucy McCormick is a specialized senior school that offers a wealth of resources for learners with physical and/or developmental disabilities.

The combination of skilled staff, small class sizes, innovative programs, specialized technology creates a safe, supportive barrier-free environment for students to reach their best potential.

We engage our learners by being responsive to their unique interests, strengths and needs. We offer structured and predictable programming, which ensures that learners feel safe and supported. The Alternative Curriculum emphasizes functional skills, and we strive to balance chronologically and developmentally appropriate resources.

We collaborate with specialized community agencies and with other congregated schools in the TDSB. These working relationships not only enhance supports for our students and families, they are important opportunities for our professional growth.

Although we are not a neighborhood school (our students come by bus from various parts of the city), we do very much see ourselves as a community school!
