Sports At Mason Road Junior Public School

Students from across the TDSB have an opportunity to participate in a variety of sports through the Toronto District Elementary School Athletic Association (TDESAA). At Mason Road, because of our highly dedicated and motivated staff, students get to participate in sports throughout the entire school year. Sometimes it is just intramurals within the school, and other times it is competitive tournaments against other schools with referees and all of the rules. In the Fall, Grades 3-6 Cross-Country, Girls’ Borden Ball, Boys’ Soccer, Girls’ Soccer, Boys' Volleyball, and Girls' Basketball are offered. In the Winter, Boys' Basketball and Girls' Volleyball are offered. Finally, the offerings during the Spring season include Coed Volleyball, Grades 3-6 Track & Field, Soft Ball, Cricket and Co-Ed Ultimate Frisbee. Last year, our Grade 6 Co-Ed Ultimate Frisbee team was Conference Champions, and our Grade 5 Boys’ Basketball team was City Champions.
