Tomorrow is a PA Day. No school for students. See everyone back on Monday, June 8th.

Family Picnic:
Join us on Monday, June 15th for our annual community picnic! Pre order your food on school cashonline by June 11th! We will also have an ice cream truck so bring cash! A percentage of the proceeds will go back to Montrose. We will have fun activities and a clothing swap. If you would like to donate clothes to swap, there is a box at the front foyer outside the office. Please look out for an email from your parent council about volunteering to help during the picnic.

Panoramic Photo:
It’s back! Our panoramic photo is on sale for purchase this year. Please look for the school cashonline link going out today. The cost is $20 and it will be 20 x 7 size. Deadline to order (no exceptions) will be June 14th (Sunday at midnight).
Track and Field:
Congratulations to our Grade 4 boys who placed 4th in the 4 x 100 relay (Evan, Matthew, Ariel, Max) and Ariel who placed 2nd in the Running Long Jump. That means they have qualified to go to the City Finals on June 9th. Special mention also to Bishop who placed 8th in the 400m which is always a grueling race!
Library Books:
Please return any library books that are still at home as soon as possible. Thank you!

Police Reference Checks:
To volunteer at school, either on field trips or to support our pizza and pasta fundraisers, all parents must have a police reference check. Police checks now are only valid for 5 years but the good news is that the type of clearance parents need is now FREE!
Here are the new instructions on how to apply. There is a code that is attached to the TDSB and you also need a letter from the school.

Thank you to Mr. Comber and Ms. McKeown for organizing the danceathon yesterday. The kids had tons of fun!
