Jump Rope for Heart: Thursday, May 29th in the AM
As you know, our school is participating in Jump Rope for Heart this year to teach our students lifelong healthy habits and to fundraise in support of life-saving research.
Today, I am sharing a message with you on behalf of Heart & Stroke. I encourage you to take the time to read their letter below.
-----
Dear Montrose families,
Jump Rope for Heart has been a tradition in many schools across Canada for more than 40 years. Generations of students have gotten active, learned healthy habits and fundraised in support of life-saving heart and brain research.
We want to make sure that Jump Rope for Heart will be available to schools for many more generations to come. However, this school year donations are at risk given the current economic environment.
That’s why today, we are asking you to consider supporting your child’s Jump Rope for Heart fundraising efforts.
Every single donation, no matter the amount, has the power to make a significant difference in the lives of people living with and at risk of heart disease and stroke.
Plus, until May 31, any donation will have double the impact thanks to Jon and Jill Faber, our trailblazing champions in heart health research who will be matching donations until their gift of $50,000* is reached.
If you, your friends or family are able to donate, please visit Montrose's fundraising page today at the link below. Any amount is welcome and appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your support. We are so grateful to the teachers, parents and students of Montrose who continue to make Jump Rope for Heart possible.
With heartfelt thanks,
